A peak inside my crazy life!

Sippy cups, crushed cheerios, dirty diapers, stained clothes, messy cars, crayons on walls, lost shoes, milk mustach, finger paint on not just paper, leggos in the toilet, stains on the new rug, rips on the couch. This is my life as some people see it! But through my eyes it looks more like this:
Warm smiles to start my day from three sleepy eyed angles. Sweet hugs wrapped in puppy breath a litte too early in the morning. The pitter patter of little feet chased by silly giggles. Little tiny voices with mispronounced words that I never tire of hearing. The word "mommy" said a million times a day that is sweet in it's own way. The sweet smile that I get every time I pick each one of my kids up from school or a play date. The letters, pictures, and special flowers given to me with a confident, yet tender, heart. The beautiful eyes that look at me when when asking me to come eat at school, lay down at bed time, or to just watch a movie in the middle of a hectic day. Singing some super girlie song really loud with the windows down on a beautiful summer day. Made up dances, dives, tricks, and skits. Liza, Roger, and Sarah Anne.

Prince Charming

Sweet baby Roger!! Roger was born March 8th, 2010. He is such a sweet gift from God. He is a very laid back little fellow with tons of smiles for everyone! He is our most spoiled child so far. I cherish every moment with him.

A look into the future

Liza is our extremely shy child. She will be starting kindergarten in a few months. To make sure that she will have a smooth transition, we decided to take a tour of her new school. When we first arrived at Camden Elementary School, Liza cried not wanting to get out of the car. After our tour, she was all smiles!! She insisted that I get a picture of her in front of her new school.

A gift from the Sleepy Fairy

Everyone who knows our family knows that our girls do not sleep. With a 3 and a 5 year old we are up at least 3 to 4 times at night. With the arrival of a new baby just days away, we had to get creative with ways to get the little princesses to sleep all night. We decided that we needed help from the Sleepy Fairy. The Sleepy Fairy left each girl a beautiful pink sleeping bear. This bear will remind the girls in the middle of the night that they need to go to sleep. So far we are two for two. The Sleepy Fairy seems to be working.

My birthday girls!

Liza had to have a princess birthday party! It was very cold and rainy, so our outdoor jumpy bash turned in to a very "crafty" birthday. We made crowns for everyone. Liza's favorite part was her princess cake!!

We had a family party for Sarah Anne! We had a great time. Sarah Anne got a little embarrassed when we sang Happy Birthday to her. It was too cute!!

Our trip to Fripp Island

This was a very exciting beach trip. We had 6 kids 4 years old and younger. They were everywhere! The only thing we will do differently next year, is get a bigger house!
Sarah Anne had so much with all of the big kids! Just look at that smile!

This is probably the only time that five of the six kids sat still to get their picture made!

Sarah Anne loved the water at the beach so much, she started crawling! She hasn't sat still since.

Liza lost all fear of the water. We all had fun at the many pools on the island. The frog pool was our favorite though!

The deer on the island are so tame. Isaac and Liza had a blast feeding them. Liza kept wanting to pet them. Sarah Anne would squeal in delight every time she saw them.

The beautiful days of summer!

Liza is ready to go to the pool. She has to wear her rain boots so her feet don't get wet!!

Sarah Anne is such a happy baby!!

Liza and Sarah Anne are really starting to enjoy each others company!

Spring has Sprung!

Liza wanted to be sawddled like Jose. That is the nick name that she has given her baby sister!

Look at my two babies!!

The many faces of Sarah Anne. She is a very happy baby!

Well, maybe not all of the time. Look at that nose.

LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!
You might not be able to tell, but it is red like her daddy's.

This is Liza pretending that she is locked up like Cinderella!

Liza loves her trampoline. Her hair is just as wild as she is!

Poor Sarah Anne. This was so cute that I had to take a picture.

Our day at the park! What fun.

The weather has been so beautiful here. Liza could not wait to go to the park to play.

Sarah Anne is so content on our walk to the park. She loves to be outside like her big sis!

Liza loves to swing at the park.

This is Sarah Anne's first ride in a real swing. She loved it as you can clearly see. What a smile!

Liza is being 2! We have a lot of tantrums these days.

Liza's buddy Evan saves the day. She totally forgot about throwing her fit when he showed up.

She cannot wait to get on the tennis court!

YUM! YUM!!

Sarah Anne cannot decide which she likes better; her two middle fingers, her thumb, or her sassy!! We are pulling for the sassy!

Liza's favorite food these days are "Princess Trees"! She doesn't really like broccoli anymore!

" This thumb tastes so good!"

Weekend fun in Bluffton!

The Smoaks spent the weekend in Bluffton with the Alberts, Nixons, and McCurrys. We had a blast, but Neely, Liza, Kendall, Ford, Katelyn, Eliza, and Sarah Anne really stole the show. We can't wait to get together again. All of the kids were very entertaining! Gerrit, let me spell it out for you, "THANKS" for hosting such a crew!

Sarah Anne loved her new blanket as she tried to sleep with 6 wild ones running around her. She loved the entertainment!

This was the only picture of the older girls that we could get. They finally slowed down enough to catch a few minutes of Mickey Mouse. Aren't they cute?

As a thank you to the Alberts, Kendall and Liza decided that they would give the bathroom a deep cleaning using bath water. These two girls were having so much fun. You should have heard the giggling. It was priceless.

Welcome to the world Sarah Anne!

Liza loves her baby sister!
Here are the two girls on election day. We had a very stressful day trying to help Stephen and prepare for a post election party. But we had fun!
Poor baby! This was so cute I had to take a picture!

5 minutes old and Sarah Anne already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! We're on our way home from the hospital!

Liza and a few of her favorite things!

Liza makes the moves on Riley. Riley is an older man! This is Lisa Kiaser Womaks' little boy. Liza and Riley had a blast playing together while Lisa, Riley, and her mom were visiting Charleston. We wish they could visit more often.
Liza poses with her hero! She is a Daddy's girl!
This picture really sums up Liza. Lovie, sassy, and diva glasses. What else does a girl need?

Our two little angels!

I have decided to keep a blog of our two little girls. A few of my friends have blogs and it is a great way to keep up with old friends. So here it goes!
